Welcome to the Rusthall Village website which is funded by the Rusthall Village Association.

There is currently much discussion about Rusthall breaking away from Tunbridge Wells and forming its own Parish Council, a move that should see a significant reduction in residents' Council Tax bill. If you want to know more about how it is progressing, come along to the next meeting of the Communities and Partnerships Select Committee.

This was to be held in the URC hall in Manor Road but due to a double booking will now take place in the Town Hall on Thursday September 9th at 6pm. Rusthall Parishing should start at about 7pm so if interested you can turn up then. The chairman of Rusthall Village Association and a committee member will attend to support the proposal to create a parish for Rusthall. A report will be given at the meeting on Thursday, 23rd September in Rusthall Club 7.30-9.30pm.

A big event of 2010 has been the revival of the Rusthall Village Fete for the first time since 1977. It was held on Saturday 24 July at the Southwood Road playing field. Reports and pictures will hopefully be posted here soon (you can tell the holiday season is upon us!)
