RUSTHALL WILDLIFE AND NATURE FAMILY FUN DAY
Rusthall Village Association is excited to announce that we will be holding a free family wildlife and nature fun day on Saturday 21 March from 11am to 2.30pm at the United Reformed Church, Manor Road, Rusthall, TN4 8UD.
There will be fun for all the family with confirmed stalls and talks from local Cats Protection League representatives, Katie from Paws for Food on our local wild birds, Alison Daykin on looking after our local hedgehog and garden wildlife and Steve Budden, Commons Warden on the natural history and maintenance of Rusthall Common. In addition there will be a focus on reuse and sustainability and what we can all do to play our part to protect our local environment and help local nature and wildlife in our own gardens.
There will be free refreshments and make and do activities for children and adults so please come along on the day. A more detailed confirmed itinerary for the day will be circulated on Nextdoor, Facebook and Twitter closer to the date. We hope you see you there!
Just a reminder that we are also holding our next Community Litter Pick on Saturday 4 April from 10.30am to noon, followed by a (Thai lunch) village social at the Red Lion, Lower Green Road (food provided for all participants!).
Meeting point is Southwood Road playing fields and litter pickers and bags are provided (just bring your own gloves). Please let us know if you are coming in advance by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org
